With a move across the ditch on the cards, the owners of a three bedroom family home in Hamilton were eager to see their property put to good use while they were away.

They contacted MSD with the opportunity to lease their property for two years, which the Salvation Army took on to add to their transitional housing portfolio.

The Salvation Army was impressed with the fully renovated home, with an easy care garden and enough wood in the shed for next winter.

The house is in a great location, with a short walk to kindergartens and schools, the local dairy and green spaces.

The home is a great place for families to stay while they receive support to find a more permanent place to live.
