About the Local Innovation and Partnership Fund (LIPF)

The $16.6 million Local Innovation and Partnership Fund supports local work and projects that respond to and prevent homelessness.

Funding rounds

The Government has made $16.6 million available for the LIPF over three years, as part of the Aotearoa Homelessness Action Plan. The funding is being allocated in rounds. The first two rounds have closed, but applications for round three will be open from 1 November 2022 to 31 January 2023. 

Applications are now open 

Round three of LIPF is now open for applications.  

Send your completed application form along with the supporting documents to InnovationandPartnership@hud.govt.nz  

Applications close at 5pm on 31 January 2023.
