Tasman Housing Accord
The new Tasman Housing Accord was signed in May 2017 and supersedes the original Housing Accord entered into in May 2015.
About the Accord
The Housing Accord and Special Housing Areas legislation enables the streamlining of new housing developments, and allows special housing areas to be designated under accords between the Government and Council.
The Tasman Housing Accord sets targets and priority actions to increase the immediate and longer-term supply of land, and therefore improve the affordability of housing in the Tasman District.
