Adrienne Meikle welcomed as new acting Chief Executive of Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga

Adrienne Meikle was welcomed as the new acting Chief Executive of Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga – Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, following a mihi whakatau held today.

Adrienne was previously the Chief Executive of the Commerce Commission and has held many senior roles at agencies such as the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, the former Ministry of Economic Development, the former New Zealand Food Safety Authority and the Attorney General’s office.

We are pleased to have someone of Adrienne's calibre leading the organisation as we continue to deliver our core work programme and plan for the merging of agencies into the proposed Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport on 1 July.
