The Change in Affordability Indicators (CHAI) provides quarterly Territorial Local Authority (TLA), Regional, and National indexes measuring change in housing affordability from the perspectives of Mortgage repayment costs, purchase deposit costs and rents, all relative to changes in income.

The Homelessness Outlook brings together the latest data and evidence on homelessness and provides a snapshot of the current state of homelessness in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is used to inform policy development, housing service design and funding decisions.

The Housing Dashboard is a single place to track the progress of key parts of the Government housing programme. It's updated monthly and includes information on public and transitional housing, other housing built by the Government, the housing register and other housing support provided.

Local Housing Statistics provides indicators of housing need, rental affordability, and home ownership affordability in each of Aotearoa New Zealand’s 67 Territorial Local Authorities (TLAs).

It also shows the progress that’s being made in achieving safe, healthy, affordable homes with secure tenure for whānau across the Māori housing continuum.

The NPS UD Dashboard provides quarterly data for residential housing market, rental market, and building consent derivatives at Expanded Urban Area (EUA), Territorial Local Authority (TLA), and Ward area level, in order for the TLA to complete pro-forma Housing and Business Land Capacity Assessment (HBA) reports.
