Administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, the Māori Trades and Training Fund supports community-led employment and training programmes through partnerships between Māori and the Crown. The programme aims to empower solutions by Māori, for Māori.

Transition to work grant
The Transition to Work grant helps people meet reasonable costs that are associated with entering or re-entering the workforce, such as clothes, travel costs, and living expenses until their first pay.

Mana in Mahi
Mana in Mahi aims to help people who are disadvantaged in the labour market move into long-term work and gain a formal industry qualification.
Eligible people can gain an industry qualification while working and earning.
