Public submissions can now be made to Parliament on the Residential Tenancies Amendment Bill.

The Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) reforms are part of the Government’s goal of creating a fairer and more secure rental market for renters and landlords.

The proposed changes will affect tenants and landlords – and the Social Services and Community Select Committee is keen to hear from anyone with an interest in the reforms that will change renting in New Zealand.

The Committee has called for public submissions, which will close on Wednesday 25 March 2020.
